Matt and I (Sin) met the way most modern fairy tales unfold—with a casual swipe right and just enough curiosity to see where it might lead. A handful of dates, plenty of laughter, and a shared love for adventure later… we found ourselves building something truly special together.
What started as a quiet spark and a dream tucked deep in my heart began to take shape—with Matt’s steady hands and unwavering belief turning it into something real. Forest Lane Escapes was born from a vision I’d longed to bring to life, and with him by my side, it unfolded naturally—like it was meant to be all along. We stumbled into something we love doing, and somehow, it feels effortless every step of the way.
From “Maybe Sell” to Magical Escapes
Here’s a little secret: our tiny home was almost sold. But then Matt took some well-deserved time off work, and we thought, Why not give it one last shot?
In just three whirlwind, exhausting, and totally worth-it days, we cleaned, styled, and transformed the space and backyard. We posted our listing—and within less than a week, bookings started rolling in like clockwork.
The momentum was unstoppable. So much so, that within that very same week, we added a second unit—a larger, cozy RV trailer—to the property, giving guests even more space to relax and unwind. From there, our little dream took flight, growing just as naturally as our excitement to share it with you.

By day, Matt moves through the medical world with calm compassion and quiet strength, a steady anchor for us both. Behind the scenes, he’s my rock—always ready with a helping hand and unwavering support, whether it’s carrying a box or cheering me on.
Meanwhile, I (Sin) pour my heart and soul into every corner of Forest Lane—tending to details, crafting moments of comfort and magic, and welcoming each guest like an old friend. Together, we don’t just offer a place to stay—we create memories that linger long after you’ve gone.

We live in the main house on the property, but rest assured—we give you complete privacy. You might forget we’re even here (unless you want us, of course!). Whether you need local tips, last-minute help, or just a friendly hello, we’re always just a message or call away.

Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or furry companions, we welcome you with open arms. We’re proud to be pet-friendly and 420-friendly (just please keep it outside). Speaking of which, meet Benjii—our two-year-old terrier mix, resident greeter, backyard explorer, and wannabe Airbnb co-host. He’s always excited to make new dog friends!
